So, Alex and I were supposed to go to Ann Arbor/University of Michigan to see one of his friends, but those plans failed. We hung around Jackson instead. He picked me up around 4:30 and took me to a cemetery. It was pretty cool. There were a few headstones dating back to the early 1880s. We took photographs. He's really into photography. He brought with him three cameras. ha! And I only had my simple digital. I felt unworthy of the art.
The sun started to go down so we were losing light. He took me to a park; I don't remember where it was or the name of it. It was nice. There were some waterfalls, which I loved. We swung on swings! How fantastic! I felt like such a little kid! I think I started to really open up out there. ...I love parks.
We drove around Jackson for a while trying to find something to do; we ended up at Burger King. He poked fun at me because I ordered a Kids Meal. I felt bad because I didn't have my purse; he ended up paying for me. I know it was only three dollars, but I dunno, I don't really like people paying for me.
Movie store. His house. My house.
We ended up watching Pirates of the Caribbean. Eh, we were going to watch Dogma, but I'm not sure if my parents would have been too fond of that. ...I am 17, so why should it matter? Anyway, he left it here for me to watch. We didn't really watch much of the movie anyway. We talked n' stuff. And he made fun of me for being cold. When my parents came home they talked to him. Oh gosh. And then they went to bed and he didn't leave until a little after midnight.
I had a good night; Ann will be disappointed when she hears this...:\

It was hard trying to capture this on film. The sun was going down right behind it; I would have just captured its silhouette. I suppose that would have been fantastic. I wanna see Alex's photo of this.

The little children buried in this cemetary all had little lambs decorating their tombstones. It made me really sad for some reason...

It's a stone tree trunk! I was fascinated by this.

I kind of wanted to cry. I hope my family does this for me when I die.
Jackie: Hey, Alex, do you want a brownie?
Ugh, I can't believe I said that. I felt so ashamed after we finished laughing/calling me horrible.

Real flowers are not allowed in the cemetery, why? Alex said that the maintainers didn't want the seeds to drop/spread/grow. What's wrong with bringing a little life to a place so dead? It would make the place more beautiful...

Headed over to the park after we were done walking around the cemetery.

Alex told me not to fall in the water. "I'm sure your parents wouldn't like it if I dropped you off all wet. Wow...that would have sounded wrong if someone just heard that last part." Then something about playing strip poker, going topless, my jaw hurting, and I think at one point he started to unbuckle his belt/pants. I don't remember what I said that made him do that...

Swings! I love swinging really high. Then, I close my eyes and lean back and it feels like I'm flying or floating. Alex said I was insane for doing that. Then I jumped off.
